Craftsmen would use planes and scraping tools to pillow edges, smooth the wood faces and add character to floors. Now these one of a kind floors are available in many species, carefully hand scraped and hand finished, given the soft characteristics of a time worn floor using the same techniques followed by craftsman of old.
